Two Decades after creating her independent record label of "Morning Star Records", Gale/Candy had decided to add the "Bad Girl Music" label to her already established small record company. One of the main reasons was because "Morning Star" gained a reputation for conservatism and straight up no Hollywood glamour that is so prevalent in the music industry today. Morning Star records is the base to hold the, "Bad Girl Music" extended label and to allow a more liberal stance with the public and the music industry. It also follows how Gale really lives behind closed doors and off stage. No, this doesn't mean she is a bad girl, (She likes to crack the law but not break it). Rather it allows her to be herself and to show another side that the Morning Star label has not been able to show in the last 20 years. It is hard for the Morning Star Record label to show any kind of risqué photos and her down to earth thinking that she uses in her daily blog. Her Photo Gallery is a testament to her liberalism. Also Gale's "Biker Chick" pages are perfect example of telling it like it is. This is the reason for the, "Bad Girl Music" label which is still part of Morning Star Records. A perfect example is the Walt Disney company. The films that are associated with Disney had to be conservative and G-rated in the film industry. That was Disney's trademark and standards. They wanted to expand into the PG-13 and even R-Rated films for adults. So they created "Touch Stone" pictures. Morning Star / Bad Girl Music runs on the same principals. Besides, "Bad Girl Music" can have a double entendre and just say, Gale's music is "BAD"-ass or just Bad as in good! We also use the Oxymoron verbiage to explain her music via, "Bad Girl Music, That is So Good to Hear."
While Gale's New Age Music can be classified as conservative, she is the total opposite in her real life. It is amazing how she can create such beautiful music and at the same time be considered a bit wild to conservative standards when not producing her music. If you look at Hollywood, you will find many like Gale or vice versa. Morning Star Records has been a round a very long time. This is Gale's small company and the answer as to why she never went with a major record label. She wanted to keep all the rights to her music. After all, she composed, produced and performed them live. Welcome to Morning Star / Bad Girl Music
