A Shining Star

The Hot desert air in her face and her motorcycle between her legs sets her mind free to create some of the most mesmerizing music. Canyon Sunsets, or sitting by a lake is what brings on her inspirations and creativity as well as riding down the open highway. How she got there on her bike is her pot to hold those inspirations until they are created on a CD Album. Her music and riding go hand in hand.

In a world of clone bands that could fill a stadium. Gale started her music when only a hand full of Artists were establishing themselves in the New Age genre'. Her music has been un-comparable for 20+ years. Go back 25+ years and you have artists like, Yanni, Kitaro, Arkenstone, Nethen, Cusco, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Gale and a few more. Many are gone now and are only a memory. Some remain like Gale.

Gale, like her colleagues, blazed a new path of music like no other that has ever been heard before. At first people said that it wasn't music. But with determination and dedication to the arts, people started coming around and having a good listen and realize that the music had properties that no other genre' had. Sounds that no other genre' had. melodies unlike any that have ever been heard. Instruments were being created and played that no one could ever imagine. Music that was layered and so complex that no standard band could clone nor duplicate on stage or in the studio.

Her 27 albums are a testament to her dedication to mastery and artistry in music. Gale and her colleagues invented the word, "Texture" and took the word to new heights that could only be imagined by the artist. So, who is she? She is one of those original artists of New Age Music. Many have faded from the spotlight and only small footprints are left and never to be heard of again. New artists have taken up those reigns and continue where the originals left off.

Gale is still here and still producing her original music. She has created her fantastic albums on her keyboard and not on the Computer. 25+ years ago, there was no music PC or music programs to install. That meant one had to play it live and know the instruments that were used. She had to study and re-invent instruments that could sound like nothing ever heard before. Many times it would take 2 or 3 Keyboards chained linked together to create a new complex song or instrument.

So when the Music Industry called her a Master Keyboardist, it was an honor that she didn't take lightly. Today there are many Master PC-ist who plays music on the PC. Not Gale. She is one of those originals. No Music touches her PC other than to create an MP3 songs for samples and digital downloads. There is no creation of any new music melodies, instruments and albums on the PC what so ever. The markings of a True Master.

Technology has brought the new aspiring New Age Artist to light. Many can sound like Gale now with a small keyboard and a PC. But, they cannot create the complexity and the texture that she can and has been for 20+ years. Gale has been mastering her art longer than many of the new artists have been alive.

So, when you go browsing around the website, know that she is one of those originals of New Age Music. She is a Master of her Keyboard and a Master in the Art of Music.

So who is she? You mean you didn't know? You do now.

She is a total original with her music style and even more so with her image and lifestyle.

Candy aka Gale

Now for her Biker Chick Bio and she tells it like it is!

Well, I think you can gather that I am a biker chick and I have been riding for 37 years. I am 5'11" barefoot, and I think I can safely say I am bike tough. I am a Nomad like my Painted Iron Pony (Motorcycle). I am Mescalero Apache' and my ancestors were also nomads. I love to ride and travel when I can afford it. When not riding I am in the studio working on music. I am a recording artist with 27 albums. Mostly New Age Music and Native American Music. Being Native American I follow the Red Road (remembering where I come from) and have modernized it. I say my prayers before every meal and at bed time. I just do what I do.

I am a bit of a live wire and there is never a dull moment with me. I ride alone a lot and I follow my own set of rules. I am a nice person if given the chance. I love the smell of leather and wear it often. I guess I can say I wear a lot of semi-sheer clothing. Might as well while I still can. I don't just ride locally or regionally/ I have ridden to Sturgis a few times by myself and enjoyed the travel there more than the mob at Sturgis. I am single and like to remain that way. I can call myself not only bike tough but at times a spoiled brat. I sank my life savings into this Painted Iron Pony of mine. I would have gotten a horse, but they don't have hay stations and I couldn't keep up the speed limit. So instead of a painted pony, I went with a Painted Iron Pony. Being an Apache', I consider myself a Warrior Woman of the the Apache' Nation. I am two spirited and that means I have to know how to carry myself accordingly. I have been riding my iron horses now for 37 years. I was riding a bike when it wasn't cool for women to ride. I have had to defend myself and my bike way back when a few times. I am not a hardcore or outlaw, but I ride daily and maybe that can apply as a hardcore rider. I live to ride and ride to live. I have no other vehicle except my pony (Bike). Tough times meant getting rid of the cage but never my pony.

I don't play games because I am too old. I don't need bikers around me who are still out there trying to prove themselves. If your my age and haven't done it, honey, it isn't going to happen. I am not a push over and I am not easy. I am street smart and I usually know what's going on around me. I am old school and I still face my back to a wall when at an eatery and other places. I don't like surprises. I back my friends and will ride through hell to save them. I don't like violence and will surrender to it. I don't try to win arguments. If backed into a corner and no place to go, you can bet your back wheel I will take you down fast and furious by whatever means. I don't want you to get up and try to hurt me. I like to ride with mellow happy people. I don't give guys rides unless it is an emergency. As for women? Hehehe, Gas, Grass or Ass, you don't ride for free. I rather be loved than hated, I rather smile than cry. I am a hopeless romantic and from what I hear, I am sexy and hot (you might need glasses). I would like to find a few more female riders who would like to ride together. Might be fun.

I don't like being with boring people. When given the chance, I will ride to a distant place and just sit my bones down and enjoy my surroundings.
When in the mood, I can play on both sides of the track if you know what I mean. But I prefer the company of liberal men. I don't do drugs nor am I a massive drinker. Those days are long gone for me. My fave is Jack Daniels and Beer. I don't date married men cuz it is always a dead end and I don't want some freakin ole' lady comin down on me because I did their ole' man. My set of rules are different than most biker ladies are. I see sex as sex in bed and blow jobs are a notch in my belt. I have a lot of belts with notches in them. Men are such sluts ya know and just way too easy.

I tell it like it is and have gotten in trouble because of it. I don't break the law rather, I like to crack it all the time. I ride the speed limit and I am never in a rush nor sloppy when I ride. I have had too many brothers and sisters pass by the way side because of sloppy riding. I am a wannabe bad-ass (a term used for not being one) and have a growl bigger than my bite. I only bite and bite hard when backed into a corner and no place to go. I don't like men nor women telling me what to do, although I would consider myself passive most of the time. I am not foo-foo but still like pink. I have some skirts and can dress like a yuppie every now and then. I don't hold hands with women as they skip to the restroom. I figure they can find it by themselves. I don't belong to any bike clubs and have no intentions on doing that. I don't like following their rules of conduct. I am who I am and I do what I want to do when I want to do it. I have nothing to prove to anyone on anything.
I am airy all the time but not an airhead. I like to be a dull knife and as I said before, I am passive most of the time. But when the pressure is on, I can be sharp as a razor. I have had my ass kicked (by a football college lineman on drugs-1993), been shot and stabbed. But, I am still here. I am the property of no-one. I am dedicated to none and loyal to one - Me!

I like to cook and can dish up some awesome Southwestern dishes. I like fine dinning from time to time. I like Romantic get aways with the right person.

I am not sure of what else to say. I am who I am. A Biker Chick! A Nomad! A Musician, Old Skool, A Hoe, A Friend, A Sister. I am for real! Nice to meet you all. - Candy
