The PBS people came to her in the early 90's because they wanted someone talented enough to compose 90 minutes of Egyptian music for their NOVA Special way back when.

In 2001 she put the 90 minutes of soundtracks and created complete songs with each soundtrack. What she got was 3 hours of some of the most mesmerizing music you will ever hear. Then she gets 2 Awards and 2 Award Nominations. That alone tells you she is one of the best in the world. A Native American woman getting awards for her Ancient Egyptian music. Number 1 in Egypt on Cairo radio for 8 months straight. She is awesome and your gonna love the music.

The music is powerful and has some fantastic percussion throughout the 3 hour collection series. I feel you will enjoy the music and if you have a fascination for the Ancient Egyptian Empire, then this music will enhance your experience and bring a visualization as it has for so many people who have grabbed the albums.

These Albums have followed my career almost from the beginning with the Soundtracks and then in 2001, the full length versions. The music is old and ancient. I would say over 5,000 years old. What I found gratifying and giving me validity is that the music aired over the Egyptian Radio in Cairo, Egypt., for over a year and I clinched a Number 1 spot for months on end. That was the message that I needed from the Egyptians themselves that, the music and melodies are for real. One doesn't get to number 1 with fake garbage.

I can go on and on about these 3 Albums, because I have a lot to say about them.. I think it be best to just let you go listen for yourself. Let my music do the rest of the talking for me. Please to enjoy my Ancient Music... Let me know you're thoughts.

Gale, I combed through a LOT of albums at CD Baby and bought about a dozen -- yours was a "solid to buy" even as I
dithered about many others. Great blends, textures, and very clean, firm flow of
sound... I'm listening to it right now... You even have nuances in the phrasings -- that's rare with
synthesized music. Awesome! Looking forward to hearing this (Best of Gale, vol. 1) many times! (I really enjoy certain flavors of New
Age. Not the jazz wannabe sound, but do I love the "crystals & meditation" aural support.)

I'll be back to CD Baby to find more of your stuff...

Truly awesome!!! I just got this Album.. All I can say is WOW! Not only is the music fantastic, but I got this in days and not weeks like other Albums I have purchased in the past from different Record Companies. Soon as I wear this Album out a little bit, I am going to order to the other two.. what a Genius you are Gale!

I almost passed this album up. Then I decided, Okay, okay, lets see what these people are saying is true. I Now have all three. Don't pass these Albums up, You'll be sorry. Gale, you have a fan for life.

Transported to another place is not the word. I sat down to read the paper and listen to this Album for the first time. I am thinking, Ambient music to fill the room while I read. Gale, I never got to the paper until the entire CD Album was done playing. I couldn't begin to tell you what I was thinking and saw in my mind.
